These little creatures don't have very long life spans and I thought I would be ok and understand when it happened again but I still feel so sad about it... We had Hamz for like 18 months, Gouda was sick when we got her so she only lived about a week and we have had Brie for 10 months. Anyway her health is weighing on me and I know a few of you have asked so I thought I would share with you what was going on.
I was born at 27 weeks which means I have gone 10 more weeks than my mom did with me, that is crazy! I am glad that I have my mom to also lean on and it makes me appreciate her even more to know what she went through to have me and for me to be a healthy and happy little girl. My parents are fantastic and I know they will be awesome grandparents. It has been interesting to think about if I had only gone to 27 weeks that I would have a 10 week old little Olive right now, I am so excited to meet her!
One week of maternity leave down and a few more to go. Maternity leave has been much more packed with fun then with prep and I might need to change that up next week, I feel like there is a lot more to do but who knows - the birth day bags are packed and her nursery is set up so relaxing will be added to my to do list. Food, friends and family have filled my days. I have had so many fun lunch dates and so many more fun ones planned. We have both been able to see our parents a lot and I know we will be doing that more often especially once Claire arrives.
