listed in the order I have wanted them today: pb&j sandwich, smores, chicken nuggets, sushi, and rascals chicken teri plate. I hope to get some today - you can cross off the pb&j Ryan made it for breakfast for me this morning.
*Rib pain- I guess Claire is right up in there and I can expect this to go away when she "drops" until then I just have to keep stretching and applying heat. Looking forward to being able to use our bath tub again.
*Cold- Well I have one. Its not that bad and I know I'll survive but not being able to start taking all my usual go to's for a cold makes me worry about how long this will last.
*Lower back- I have had back pain before, pinched nerves and so on so this isn't anything I can't handle I just got that it doesn't get too much worse. I really need to get back to the weekly chiro visits and plan on a massage very very soon.
*Head/neck- Same as it has been, I have changed my sleeping position like Dr.Bob suggested and I think it has helped a little bit.
Getting bigger, so is everything else on my body haha I go back and forth with loving every change to getting down on myself but I guess that is expected, it is all still so new. All I know is that I want to teach Claire to be more loving of her body than I have been known to be, Ryan really wants her to be comfortable and confident and that sounds wonderful to me.
As the due to fast approaches, my midwife has kindly urged me to get started on the classes, I feel as if I have read a lot of books, a ton of blogs and heard countless accounts from friends and family but I am sure she probably right. So, the research began. We have scheduled out breastfeeding class through Pacific Cord, yes it is free because they want to also teach me about cord blood and that's fine with me, bring on the info. Then we signed up for our newborn care class through our birth center, Beach Cities Midwifery - I am really excited for both of these!
Now lets talk natural birth, have I mentioned that I have decided on no medication? This will be for another post but at my birth center there is no medication available and all natural is the way to go and because of this a normal birth tour with birth classes will not be meeting my needs. I was considering the Bradley Method and Hypnobirth they both sound really interesting and challenging in their own ways. Ryan and I decided to go ahead and give the hypnobirth a shot and our midwifes directed us to Livy's Heart Birth Services - we are all signed up for the 6 week course!
Hope you are having a lovely week.

We had our glucose test the other day, I am sure you remember the day - you got so so much sugar that you must have been on a high! You know that I was, all the shaking and the sweating - the drink didn't even taste that bad my body just did NOT enjoy it. At the appointment our midwife said that everything looks great, you are growing right on track and she even seemed surprised at how strong your heart sounded. You made us all laugh when she put the gel on my stomach for the doppler because you kicked right at it! It was such a hard kick too, you are so cute, I really can't wait to meet you. In a few days we will be able to see you in 3D! Your dad and I can hardly wait!! Not only do we get to take home a few pictures of you but we also get a dvd so we can watch you whenever we want to.
I hope my cold isn't bothering you at all little one, xox
